Project 37325 is a custom Alum‑a‑Lift designed for dumping drums weighing up to 275 lb. [125 kg]. Built with a powered clamp and wrist-style handling attachment, the lift gives operators a safer, more controlled way to grip, lift, rotate, and empty drums without relying on manual tipping or awkward handling.

The powered clamp secures the drum during pickup and dumping, helping maintain a consistent grip throughout the handling cycle. Wrist-style movement provides the rotation needed to tip the drum into the desired position, while ergonomic handles give the operator better control when maneuvering the lift. A handheld pendant control keeps lift and clamp functions easy to operate, allowing the user to manage the drum handling process from a comfortable working position.

This project was requested by an existing Alum‑a‑Lift customer who already uses one of our lifts and needed an additional unit for their facility. By repeating a trusted solution, the customer can maintain consistency across operations while improving drum handling safety, ergonomics, and repeatability. The same powered clamp and wrist-style drum dumping approach can be adapted for food, chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial processing environments where drums need to be lifted, positioned, and emptied with greater control.
