Details
Project 37198 is a custom Alum‑a‑Lift designed to handle cell trays weighing up to 134 lbs. each, with a total handling capacity of 268 lbs. [121 kgs.] The lift is built to pick cell trays from different sized crates staged on pallets, including crates stacked two high, giving operators a safer and more controlled way to remove trays without relying on awkward manual lifting.
A powered clamp secures the cell tray during pickup, transfer, and placement. The clamp pads are designed with tray-specific geometry, allowing them to interface securely with the tray shape for stable handling.
Rigid front casters support easier steering, while ergonomic handles and a handheld pendant control give the operator comfortable, direct control throughout the handling process. By combining powered clamping, tray-matched clamp pads, lift-ready confirmation, and operator-friendly controls, this cell tray handling lift improves safety, reduces strain, and creates a more repeatable workflow for removing trays and other assemblies from palletized crates. The same approach can be adapted for battery, electronics, medical, industrial, and advanced manufacturing applications where trays, modules, or delicate assemblies need to be lifted from crates or pallets with controlled clamping and precise handling.
