Project 36404 is a custom Alum‑a‑Lift designed to pick up, set down, and manipulate a protective barrier test fixture in a cleanroom and hazardous-rated environment. The lift is rated for 90 lb. [40 kg.] loads and ISO 5 cleanroom compatible, making it suitable for controlled manufacturing, testing, and assembly areas where cleanliness and safety requirements are both critical. It is also built to Class I, Div 2 explosion-proof requirements for use in environments where hazardous vapors or materials may be present.  

The lift uses a powered clamp, powered 90° front-to-back rotation, and 90° tilt to position the protective barrier test fixture for handling, inspection, and setup. The end attachment includes a gripper designed to secure the protective barrier test fixture and lock it into place, with discrete manual grippers on both sides for better handling. A manual locking mechanism and handwheel width adjustment give operators controlled, repeatable engagement with the fixture. Push/pull points are built into the end attachment to help the operator maneuver it more easily during setup and positioning.  

The lift supports precise, controlled motion with a free-floating forward shuttle, lock and drag adjustment, height interlock, laden/unladen pendant indicator, stable caster configuration, and a removable battery that one operator can swap in under 30 seconds. 

This protective barrier test fixture lift enables safer, repeatable handling of sensitive hardware in cleanroom or hazardous-rated environments, with adaptable lifting, locking, rotation, tilting, and positioning for high-value assemblies.
