Accessing all critical areas on the faces of large-format regulator and burn-in boards for assembly and inspection is essential, yet challenging to achieve manually due to their substantial weight. Safely maneuvering these heavy boards without causing damage requires a specialized solution that ensures both accessibility and protection during handling.

To address this need, Alum-a-Lift engineered a circuit board work positioner with a double-pivot end-effector, enabling operators to easily manipulate and rotate boards during assembly. It also features geometrically optimized rails with specialized captivating fixtures that securely hold both burn-in boards and regulator board assemblies—supporting up to 100 lbs—while eliminating the need for interchangeable components. The result is a streamlined, versatile solution that simplifies handling and improves efficiency in demanding manufacturing environments.
