When there isn’t enough space between rolls on the pallet, traditional lifting methods can be challenging, especially when dealing with heavy rolls weighing up to 500 pounds each. Alum-a-Lift developed a powered roll lifter solution that engages the vacated core at each end of the roll. Using a powered overhead clamp specifically designed to handle substantial weights, extra clearance between adjacent rolls isn’t needed.

This method not only prevents potential damage to the roll’s outer surface but also streamlines the process of moving and positioning rolls, even in tight spaces.

Due to the weight of the system, a powered drive assist is included for moving around and a powered lateral shuttle for side to side adjustment for more precise placement.
