This cleanroom lift was designed to handle heavy fixtures in an ISO 6 (Class 1,000) semiconductor cleanroom where sterility is essential. The system features a footprint that has been optimized for narrow aisles, measuring just 35 inches (900mm) in width. As fixtures must be positioned from the side, Alum-a-Lift designed a nickel-plated end-effector to swing to either side, featuring a two-segment articulated arm that can be set up for one or two-tier racks, reaching 31 inches (800mm) from the lift’s side base. The arm’s versatility enables it to extend sideways for both removal and installation tasks, and it can be detached for easy transport.
