A research facility was looking for a more efficient and ergonomic way to maneuver large manifolds around their facility throughout its assembly process. This manifold lifter features a dual gusseted fork set with hoisting rings which helps prevent sway, or oscillation and a removable boom with single hoisting point for transferring air boxes, adding extra functionality to the design. The end-effector includes powered shuttling for precise alignments.

Foldable tethers are included for pivoting the lift into position around facility machinery. The tethers fold for storage when not in use. Also included with this Alum-a-Lift are quick exchange batteries which minimizes downtime between charges.
