Semiconductor tooling assemblies are used to create and test semiconductor chips in clean rooms and wafer processing areas. Our SEMI S2/S8 compliant lift fulfills the international standards for safety and ergonomics as it assists operators in manipulating assemblies onto the integrated platform to separate the tooling from the base unit. The carriage can be raised again while the tooling remains attached to the end-effector, leaving the base unit on the platform.

The lift features a spring loaded latching mechanism that secures the tooling without the need for a knob to tighten the latch. This system allows for easy release by simply pulling a pin and turning the handle.

Plus, there’s a safety overload module that’s set to the lift’s weight limit. It will stop vertical travel if the end-effector is overloaded or hits any obstacles, keeping operators safe and preventing any damage.
