This roll lifter was designed to safely move delicate rolls between storage and machine shafts using a tilting platform vs a clamp due to the sensitivity of the rolls being handled. An operator first removes the shaft, slides the rolls onto the platform, then installs the shaft to retain the roll and enable the lift’s powered tilt feature. Once rotated horizontally, the lift can be positioned in front of process equipment where a roll is unloaded and installed. A flip-up roll stop prevents rolls from sliding off the lift during transport, reducing workplace injuries and material damage.
