An aerospace and defense company requested a robust cleanroom lift with a single, rigid boom arm mounted permanently to allow for swapping of different end effector tooling attachments. This specialized Alum-a-Lift features a forward-to-back and lateral shuttling boom that can handle loads weighing up to 300 lbs with a custom interface for tooling with tapped clearance holes at the end of the boom arm for quick connect/disconnect of tooling being secured and is suitable for Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanrooms. In addition to the load limit, safety and handling considerations, our team worked closely with the customer’s engineering group to insure exact measurements were used for the lift to clear cleanroom doorways and maneuver within a tight environment.
