This spline handling lift is expertly engineered to facilitate the movement of splines used in material handling from storage locations to loading zones. It efficiently retrieves splines from a load bar and positions them onto stands, ensuring they are ready for part loading. The gripper boasts a full 360° rotation side-to-side and a 90° rotation front-to-back, enabling the splines to be oriented in various ways as required. All functions of the end-effector, including the gripper and both rotational movements, are fully powered and is capable of managing both 5-leg and 7-leg splines. Additionally, a safety overload module is integrated to halt vertical lift operations if the end-effector is overloaded or meets an obstruction.
