This lift was designed for an electrical manufacturing company specializing in the maintenance of physical vapor deposition (PVD) tools, a critical process in semiconductor manufacturing. This Alum-a-Lift secures the platens used in PVD tools, facilitating their installation into semiconductors. Equipped with adjustable traveling limit switches, it ensures precise vertical height for installation and a secondary height for unloading onto a cart. The inclusion of a “Lazy Susan” feature enables a 360-degree rotation of the platen, providing operators access to all sides.
