This transportable lift was built to service battery installations in a large-scale uninterruptible power supply (UPS) energy storage system. These battery farms include racked banks of batteries that are spread throughout the customer’s site, often in secluded out-of-the-way locations. UPS batteries are first handled during initial installation then left alone for years until maintenance or replacement is needed. The lift features removable legs, a quick exchange platform, and frame guards, enabling the lift to be easily disassembled and placed in the bed of a truck for transporting between battery storage locations.
