This cleanroom rated system was designed for a global semiconductor manufacturer providing solutions that target the automotive, industrial and communication infrastructure markets. A multi-purpose, long reach boom was needed to support the maintenance of process tools. Different end-effectors could easily be attached, allowing one lift to easily support different PM or failure based tasks. To minimize the footprint, the boom could be retracted as needed to facilitate movement in narrow aisles.
