Developed for a global semiconductor test equipment manufacturer, this system is designed to install and remove thermal arrays into dedicated racking. The lack of features for engagement made the use of a conveyor style end-effector ideal, with the added benefit of inherently preventing component damage due to misalignment. The resulting system allows large and valuable equipment to be quickly installed or removed without ergonomic concerns, resulting in increased throughput.
