When repairing and refurbishing aircraft engine turbine blades, they need to be manipulated and loaded into several pieces of equipment. The powered trunion and pivoting vacuum head allow the blade to be moved into almost any orientation. The articulated arm allows the lift to be parked near the equipment and then the blade manipulated into the required position to load into the equipment.
