This portable lifting device was configured to support an assembly process for an electromechanical defense system. Alum-a-Lift’s engineers began by gaining an understanding of the process’ value stream, and designed simple attachments useful throughout the build. Three toolless mounting locations for four different interchangeable end-effectors are present, as well as a manual side-to-side rotation module, and a lateral shuttle for fine positioning. This future-proof material handling device will adapt and remain useful as its process undergoes continuous improvement.
