Installing heavy components inside of an airplane can be a difficult task due to the tight quarters. This Alum-a-Lift features a work positioning end-effector to provide fine alignment in nearly every degree of freedom. The quick exchange interface allows for a variety of fixtures to be attached. The lift’s compact form factor allows the lift to fit in the tightest of areas inside the plane. This system allows a single operator to handle components that would usually require a team people.
