Continuous manufacturing of pharmaceutical tablets requires large volumes of powdered and granulated materials to be loaded into Intermediate bulk containers (IBC). This Alum-a-Lift is configured to handle and dump different size drums into an IBC in a Class 2 Div 1 Hazardous Environment. An intrinsically safe pneumatic ballscrew drive powers the lift using a factory compressed air supply. The dual lifting stages allow for overhead lifting while retaining the ability to pass through doorways.
