Forming tubes are used in vertical form fill seal machines to shape bags for filling. Tubes may be swapped out for maintenance and for changeover between product lines. These are typically positioned at awkward elevations above the equipment, sometimes with poor access. This lift removes the need for the operator to manually handle a heavy load above their head. The pivoting arm and fork set allow for reaching around obstacles adjacent to the vertical bagger.
