Serviceable components such as pumps and motors for large pharmaceutical mixers can often be in hard-to-reach locations, such as high on mezzanines or under large tanks. The addition of sanitary washdown requirements means off-the-shelf lifting solutions may not exist. This compact, useful material handling device is the result of an on-site engineering effort where an Alum-a-Lift project engineer gathered information and discussed goals and requirements directly with end users and other stakeholders.
