The need to remove large, heavy hoppers from the top of a pill sorting machine for routine cleaning presents risk of harm to personnel and damage to equipment. The presence of this equipment in a cleanroom limits material handling options. Alum-aLift provided this simple, compact lift, which includes four lifting straps positioned to engage eye bolts at the corners of the hopper. Hopper removal is now accomplished safely and ergonomically by a single operator.
