A pharmaceutical company’s manufacturing process required parts to be sterilized by placing large stainless steel baskets into a tank of caustic cleaners. This Alum-a-Lift includes a boom end-effector that reached beyond its legs, over the tank, allowing baskets to be lifted from their storage location and lowered into the tank without requiring reaching or unergonomic motions by personnel. This lift is constructed primarily of 304 stainless steel, and is rated for sanitary washdown.
