An enterprise server manufacturer required a lift to install railmounted components into server racks. These components feature small mounting studs which must be installed in a specific sequence, requiring the entire assembly to be angled when being aligned with the destination rails. An alternate lifting tool was currently in use, but was considered heavy and slow. This Alum-a -Lift provides safe, ergonomic, repeatable positioning using an integrated tilt module and the lift’s standard fine vertical speed adjustment. The only complaint is that operators now fight over the “good” lifts!
